Card guide

Role and core idea

A high-multiplier Joker with a deck-building requirement. It works with every poker hand, but first requires 16 upgraded Playing Cards in the deck; once active, ×3 Mult can anchor a late-game build.

Mechanics

  • Default Playing Cards do not count. Gilded, Fragile, Wooden, Rock, Paperback, Plaid, Multicard, and Chipped all count as Upgrades.
  • The effect checks the number of upgraded cards, not whether they score in the current hand, so you can keep playing your most reliable hand type.
  • It provides no Mult before reaching 16 cards. Treat it as a build objective rather than immediate scoring power.

Recommended poker hands

High Card / Pair

Low hand requirements let you preserve upgraded cards and focus on reaching the count.

Flush

Plaid cards and suit conversion improve both Flush consistency and the Upgrade count.

Five of a Kind

Copying upgraded cards of one rank advances both the hand plan and the 16-card requirement.

Strategy by stage

Early game

Before buying early, confirm that you have a repeatable Upgrade source. In a mostly Default deck it may occupy a slot without scoring for too long.

Mid game

Prioritize Pearl, Blind, Grace, and Admin Cards that affect multiple cards, while concentrating Upgrades on your main rank or suit.

Late game

After reaching 16, stop adding cards without purpose. Thin irrelevant cards, level the main hand, and support ×3 Mult with Chips and additive Mult.

Boss risks

Card Cut Boss Blind
Card Cut

Randomly disables a Joker and can remove the core ×3 Mult on a critical hand.

Tycoon Troll Boss Blind
Tycoon Troll

The tripled score target demands reliable Chips and additive Mult in addition to ×3 Mult.
