Playing Card Upgrades

Upgrades change a Playing Card’s appearance and rules, adding scoring, economy, or suit effects. A card uses one Upgrade at a time.

How Upgrades work

  • Gilded and Wooden must remain in hand to activate; they do not need to be played as scoring cards.
  • Rock has no rank or base value, while Plaid matches any suit. Account for these special rules when forming hands.
  • Several Game Cards convert selected Playing Cards into a specific Upgrade. View Game Cards
